So I watched this movie recently for the first time in probably 10 years, and I remembered how much I used to like it, and that the jokes were pretty funny when I was in high school.
And, oddly enough, I still found it funny again when I watched it!
I ended up getting double duty out of the movie for my podcast and another one which I guest co-hosted (see mygenerationpodcast.com for mine, and trivialtriviapodcast.com for the one I guest co-hosted), and I realized that, even though I am 36 years of age, to some extent, I'm living through Wayne Campbell's life right now.
I've had several joe jobs, but nothing you'd call a career. I even made mention to my co-host today when I recorded with her, "What I'd really like to do is do my podcast for a living. Sheah, right! And monkeys might fly outta my butt!"
And all that made me realize is, 1) I gotta figure out how to boost my listenership, and 2) corral/massage the data I get into numbers that I can then take to businesses and try to sell ad space to. :)
To paraphrase Wayne's World again: "It can be done. Oh yes, it CAN be done."
And this post? It's also the result of late night lack of sleep and too much stress from work. :)
Oh yeah - anyone know of any good Thanksgiving movies/television specials? I want to kinda have a Thanksgiving theme for November, but all I can think of is Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, and a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving...
