Last one out of the Kinjaverse, turn out the lights.

Today is the day Marty travels to in BTTF...Actually it's not

Actually it's not. I found it fascinating however that the same people get fooled by this well documented scam every single year. For those not familiar, the above image has been appearing on facebook every year for the last few. Especially considering the fact that BTTF has an almost cult-like following of geeks, you would think people would know to check snopes, or watch the movie, or use their brains or something. But nope, it happens every bloody year.

For those who are unfamiliar with the bologna posts, here's the snopes article:…

So why is it that people who are so excited about BTTF day (presumably at least moderately geeky types) don't know the actual date and, even more so, don't google before reposting? Are these people really so desperate to be the "clever and witty" individual who first posts it?

For those who really DO like to follow along, check this out: it's a countdown clock which will tell you EXACTLY how long you have to wait for BTTF Day!

So sit tight folks. Maybe one day we'll all be able to hear those sweet words: When this baby hits 88 miles per hour, you're going to see some serious shit.
