Last one out of the Kinjaverse, turn out the lights.

Up until last weekend I had a 2013 Triumph Trophy SE 1200, which I loved. My problem with it was that it’s a British bike, and I just didn’t have enough confidence in its long-term reliability. The warranty was nearing expiration and little gremlins were starting to make themselves known. Nothing critical mind you, but enough for me to be concerned, and the nearest Triumph dealer is far enough away that it would have been a problem should anything catastrophic happen.

Enter my new, 2017 Kawasaki Concours 14.

It’s comfortable, stable, has razor sharp handling, and runs faster than a scalded dog. This thing is nearly perfect. Once I add Grip Puppies, handlebar risers, a touring windshield, and install my Givi Monokey 46, it will be perfect, and I have no doubt that I’ll get thousands upon thousands of reliable miles out of it.

As of now I’ve only put 120 miles on it (it had 3 when I bought it) so I’ll do a more comprehensive review once I’ve spent some quality time on it.
