They don’t need to be taken with a fancy camera or works of art. Share any SFW photos you’ve taken with even the poorest of potatoes. Of course we love to see that arty stuff too.

There’s this one view in PA that is absolutely amazing but I can never get the view point I want because of other people also wanting to enjoy the view. I’ve made several attempts and have been thwarted each time. This time was no different, but instead of leaving I got on my bike and explored.

Dirt road turned into miles of this large stone that looked like it had just been put down. Ended up riding the shoulder since the stone was so loose.

That led to a narrow trail that went down the mountain. GPS showed the trail ended a little less than 3/4 of a mile down the hill with about 130 feet of elevation change.

Making my way down I was like “This seems like more than 130 feet...”

I failed to notice my GPS changed to metric units when I updated it last.

I dreaded the climb back but it proved worth it when I found a break in the trees.

Made my way back to my car and was happy to see no other cars in the lot. My legs argued against it, but I decided to make another attempt for my original view. I’m glad I did. :)

Was able to enjoy the view for a good fifteen minutes before a mother and daughter blasting Pearl Jam made their way through the trees. Glad to have the brief time I did and left the mountain for them to enjoy.

Perfect temps, blue skies and all teh green. Could not have asked for a nicer day to see off the summer. :)
