We have a neighborhood potluck here with 30-50 people. There are always the traditionalists, with the oven turkey, stuffing, whipped potatoes, etc. But then we have a strong contingent of vegan/vegetarians that consistently rock my socks off with wild ass seed/nut/greens dishes that are always satisfying and good.

But my favorite is the imu turkey/pig that people bring around. The Hawaiians sure knew how to cook their meat, and there hasn't been a time when it wasn't some of the best food I've eaten. Here's to turkey cooked underground, breadfruit whipped potatoes (sky potatoes - grows on trees) and wild greens salads.

What are you looking forward to?
