PSA: Sign up for Target Ticket, Get 10 free UltraVoilet Titles (limited selection)

In case anyone else didn't know about this...

I signed up for Target Ticket the other day for (very) loosely work-related reasons, and was offered to choose 10 from a limited selection of free Ultra Violet titles. According to the fine print, the offer started from 8/16/13 and will last until 2/12/14, so there' still plenty of time.

I have yet to find the time to fully stream a single title, but I've redeemed a few, and as a mostly Android (phone, tablet) and Windows (PC) user, I've found UV to be more useful for watching movies on the go than the iTunes or Windows digital copy most Blu-rays come with.

I can't remember what all the choices were off the top of my head, but these are the ones I chose (some because I wanted them, some because the selection is pretty limited and you have to choose all 10 at once and I didn't want to let any free movies go to waste).

Vegas Vacation

So I Married an Axe Murderer

St. Elmo's Fire

Werewolf: The Beast Among Us

Conan the Barbarian (the remake)

Big Trouble in Little China

Battle Star Galactica (1978)

Bean The Movie

A Knight's Tale

If you have an X-Box 360, there's a Target Ticket app you can use to watch movies on your HDTV. If you have a PS3, there's no Target Ticket app, but there's still a way. Target Ticket is one of a few vendors that you can redeem an UltraViolet code with. Another one is Vudu, which the PS3 has an app for. If you link all your vendor accounts with your UltraViolet account, you can stream any redeemed movies through any of the vendors. So if you want to stream on your PS3, just sign up for a Vudu account, link it to the same UV account as Target Ticket and you can watch your free movies through your PS3.

Now I just have to find the time to watch them, in case the rights to stream get taken away or some other reason for the titles not being available anymore.
