The sun is shining here in New York City for what feels like the first time in 100 years. The sun now stays up past 4pm. Winter is vanquished! And this week has been big for White Noise. Let's talk amongst ourselves.

This week, we relaunched White Noise as a place where we can contribute all of our awesome, and we got to ask Warren Ellis questions he'll answer next week. In the meantime, if you like Q&As, check out security expert Bruce Schneier's responses today to your burning questions about two-factor auth, social hacking, and whether or not to post pictures of your kids online (as someone who worked in Trust & Safety, let me add: don't do it. For the love of Carl Sagan's son, hide your children from the internet).

Now that you've learned how to keep yourself safe and/or decided nothing is secure, let us face the glorious fact that the weekend is upon us. Saturday's my birthday, or as it has become widely known the the last few years, "Pi Day." I hate you so much, Pi Day, for stealing my thunder and inducing my friends to cheekily bake pies instead of birthday cakes for me.

Don't tell anyone, but I don't really like pie. If I had to eat pie, here are my pies, ranked:

3. Apple I guess it's palatable w/ice-cream

2. Some kind of chocolate pie is that a thing

1. Pumpkin, the only real pie worth eating

Cakelife. Happy weekend! 'Sup?
