Last one out of the Kinjaverse, turn out the lights.

So I'm currently a huge fan of Ableton Live as a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation for you noobs out there). I've done a number of remixes and produced me some great original mixes. I guess the thing I like about it the most is the workflow is very smooth. Its not as intuitive as I would normally like, but once I got the hang of the nuances I started finding myself enjoying it very much.

So that said, I'm wondering what are you using? What are some of the best benefits about your DAW of choice? Does the Mac vs PC argument even matter anymore? I'm running my studio on Windows 7, and the Loud ASIO driver doesn't play nicely with more than 1 application using it at a time. I tried Windows 8 for a time and the ASIO seemed to work well, but I haven't tested to confirm one way or another. I know with Windows theres a little more setup work to be done, but with the savings difference between a good PC and an iMac, its probably worth the little extra work up front. Thats at least my take on the matter.

Any other Audiophiles out there?
