Evernote Users

How do you use Evernote? I've been trying to get more organized, and decided to put in the effort to actually use it (I've had an account since 2009 but I've never really used it).

If any of you have any tips on how you use it, I'd love to read them. I decided to pay for the premium subscription to try to get the most out of the service.

ETA: I just got my Moleskine notebook (a regular moleskine, not the Evernote Smart Notebook), so we'll see how that works along with it.

ETA 2: So, I did a little experimenting. I took some pics of different pieces of paper with my hand written text on it. A couple I scanned as PDFs, these were printed pages that I marked up and some were from a lined note pad. The PDFs I OCR'ed myself, and Evernote only brought up the non-handwritten text during a search. For the note pad pages, Evernote did not bring anything up in a search.

However, I also received my Moleskine notepad today and Evernote was able to scan that handwritten text and it showed up easily in a search. So there must be something about a Moleskine notebook that makes it work. Either way, pretty cool.
