So, our normal radio station isn't coming in at work today for some reason. So, we're stuck listening to the only other station that comes in clearly.
I won't name them, but it's a station from the Twin Cities and they play the popular music.
I swear, I've heard 'Royals' by Lorde, 'Wreaking Ball' by Mylie Cyrus and 'Roar' by Katy Perry at least once an hour all day.
Is this normal for top 40 radio? Do people fixate on the popular songs and refuse to listen to anything else? I mean, once or twice in an 8 hour shift would be fine, but hourly? Do they want me to get more sick of the songs than I already am?
Although, I will admit, The Gregory Brothers do a fantastic version of Wreaking Ball.
