Looks like AT&T is using data that it's already gathering by placing its own ads to repackage and sell to marketers looking to maximize their ads effectiveness rates. The system is to be tailored to mobile, TV, or online and help marketing purchasers drill down on a specific, interested, relevant group of people. In theory. But isn't that the age-old issue: finding how to get in front of people who actually care instead of just blasting noise into the ether and hoping it gets someone's attention. It'll be interesting to see how effective this is.
