I'm bored at work, I have little to do, so... time to start some side projects. In the past I have designed buggies, and even made massive spreadsheets of cars. But this time, I'm going to try something that involves more learning...

This time, I am going to attempt to learn how to program a game engine. Before you start trying to knock my expectations lower, realize that my goals as of now, are to have a working calculator program by this time next week ;)

Here is some relevant background information.
-I have taken a C++ class in university
-I used to modify games wayy back in high school (bf1942), so I have a general idea of simple txt file manipulation.

If anybody has any references, or wishes to join me in my misadventures be sure to add me on google+

Now excuse me while I go install a copy of visual studio express 2012

/edit, didn't realize it was a month trial... uninstalling going with Code::Blocks
